What students are saying about

The Blue Soul School of Yoga

“The program exceeded my expectations. The smaller size class gave us more opportunity to practice teaching. The class content went much more in depth on topics of spirituality, meditation, yoga history than I anticipated. I feel so much better prepared having all the yoga background, tools, and additional materials. Knowing where to access additional information has also been a very key component to helping us transition into teaching. We also covered pose set up, cuing, anatomy and the basic mechanics of yoga – this I expected, and was done in detail with many resources for students to continue to enhance our skills as we go out into the community to teach. Katy Blum is a very knowledgeable teacher but she also recognizes the skill and knowledge others bring to her program. She has the skill necessary to teach, manage and coordinate other teachers to incorporate a wider array of knowledge and experience to her training. If the school of Blue Soul Yoga offered a 500-hour teacher training; I would continue my education here.” – Maureen S.

“I am so pleased that I was able to take my yoga teacher training with Katy Blum at Blue Soul Yoga.  She has provided me with a well rounded yoga training and has offered a lot of valuable resources, trainings, and hands on applications.  I was given ample opportunities to teach classes to the public.  Katy was very encouraging and provided feedback that helped me refine my practice.  I enjoyed the class schedule so that trainings were not held every weekend.  Even though Saturday and Sunday were long days the time went by fast and I couldn’t wait until our next class. I would definitely recommend the Blue Soul Yoga School to future students. I like the location of the school.  The school is warm and inviting and it provided a wonderful training environment. I especially liked the philosophy of the  Blue Soul yoga school  and that it has a spiritual basis and offers a wide variety of classes from Yin to Bhakti yoga & Kirtan. The workshops held at the studio are top notch and valuable for my teacher training.  I plan to continue to earn my extra teaching hours and practice at Blue Soul Yoga school. – Terri L.

“This yoga teacher training has been everything I needed and more!  Originally I took this to enhance my own practice and to see if my love of yoga could be shared with others by leading classes.  I’m blown away!  I’ve learned so much more about yoga, the philosophy and history.  All the different realms.  And more than that I have formed deep bonds with the other teacher trainees and Katy.  Katy is an amazing teacher, patient, and knowledgeable.  ” – Martha H

“Blue Soul School of Yoga did a wonderful job sharing and explaining their knowledge and great depths of yoga. It was truly a wonderful experience that I will always be grateful for, and will always send others their way. Thank you Katy Blum!” – Kristen F.
